In black-and-white, Robbie Williams walks onto the balcony and takes picture of the skyline with his camera. In a split screen, he continues to look out on the balcony to the left and sorts through the photos on the right.
He takes the triangle rack off the pool table and starts to play. In the dining room, he gives the middle finger. He sits on the landing and rubs his eyes. In a split screen, he holds the pool stick to the left and starts another game to the right.
At the dining table, he looks through the pictures of himself. As he walks around the dining room, he stares at the piano. He continues to play pool. He shows the pictures he took to the video camera and smiles.
On the television, Robbie Williams watches a news story about an ex-girlfriend from about twenty years ago. In the sit-down interview, the reporter welcomes her as their new correspondent. The reporter also asks about her youngest child. She shares a cute story of she lost the weight by running after her little boy all the time. Williams scoffs and changes the channel.
He walks around the house, gazing at his wedding photos and listening to old albums. He believes he leads a good life now. However, back then, his ex-girlfriend enabled him as they partied. His manager urged him to break up with her. He protested and fired the manager. After sobering up, he would call his manager and hire him back. She took him to him every industry party and started getting extensive plastic surgery at 25 years old. Nothing about her was real.
She had landed a television show after she began dating him. Rumors floated in the magazines that they were going to get married. He asked her several times to stop them. However, she only continued the game, hinting at venues in the press. He found out at an industry event that she was dating the lead actor from her show.
However, it ended up being a blessing in disguise. He cleaned up and married. He experimented with music and continued to build his fanbase. His family was comfortable. His ex-girlfriend, though, has been in and out of rehab and scrounging for offers in between. Being a television correspondent on an entertainment show she once dragged for being irrelevant in her prime is the best she can get.
