Inside a darkened lab, Steve Aoki and Nicky Romero lie on tables, white flourescent light flashes as they sleep. Kiara lies on the floor, wearing a dress made of electrical wires.
She touches her throat her dances. Electric blue and green lines of electricity flow from Aoki’s hair into the plug. Romero’s glow pure white. The electrical cords curl around Kiiara’s body. Romero twitches his fingers. The cords spark on Kiiara’s dress. Aoki opens his eyes.
Kiiara blinks as the electricity runs through her body. It pinches her cold fingers. She mumbles a weak “hello.” A spark touches her throat and she flinches. Her knee jerks as she tests it by moving up and down. She rises up slowly from the bed of cords and sits up. Her hands on the floor, she bends her knees and stands up on her own. Turning her head, she sees Steve Aoki and Nicky Romero lying drained on the table.
She yells for Aoki and Romero to wake up. She runs her hand along Romero’s cheek and jumps as she sees his glowing eyes. The transfer of energy transformed him into something sinister. She puts her hand over her mouth. It can’t happen. Romero has been one of the people she knows she can trust. He sacrificed the last of his soul to allow to her live. She races over to Aoki, who holds her hand. She smiles and motions to the plug. He shakes his head and shouts a raspy “no!” She takes her hand off the cord.
Aoki coughs as he sits up. Kiiara searches a cloth. She receives a shock as she picks up some tissue. He whispers they need to help Romero. A tear rolls down Kiiara’s cheek and Aoki puts his head down. She puts one of his arms around her neck and helps him get up. Aoki says they have at least another week, another week if they are lucky. She says the lab must have some extra supplies in the basement. Aoki tells her they have to move on. They could get trapped in the basement. Kiiara unlocks the door and they walk in the narrow, white painted halls. She finds a door and pounds on it. Aoki says they have to go and promises he won’t let anything to happen to her.
