Video Review: Jonas Brothers “Sucker”

A car pulls up to the Hatfield House in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. The three princes (Nick, Kevin and Joe) perform in the library.

Their significant others (Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Danielle Jonas and Sophie Turner) wear sunglasses as they sit in teal lounge chairs. They smile at the corgis walking on the floor and watch them play. Chopra Jonas, in Sensen Lii, takes off her sunglasses and sings with Nick.

Wearing Giambattista Valli gown, and teal fascinator, Chopra Jonas mulches the lawn. Joe lies on the grass and weeds it. Turner, wearing a Tomo Koizumi gown, reaches over a pink ladder and slaps his hand. Danielle, also wearing a Giambattista Valli gown, walks the dogs.

Nick and Kevin have a sword fight.

Nick sings on multiple televisions stacked in an unused room.

They drink tea and eat dessert on a silver table on the lawn. They form a conga line. Turner chases Joe. Nick and Chopra Jonas clap while sit in bathtubs outside. Turner holds two drinks in her hands and smokes a cigarette. A butler carries a tray of drinks.

Kevin rides one of the dogs. The butlers laugh. Joe and Turner dance.

At the long dining table, they eat with several guests. They toast to one another.

Chopra Jonas, wearing Elie Saab, walks down the hallway. Turner smokes as Joe hangs from the wall. They pose for a family portrait in the library.

Kevin Jonas, the eldest brother, had broken tradition and married a commoner. The Queen, though, had given in as she realized her son was not about to leave the young woman. There was genuine feeling and she didn’t want her grandchildren to experience a loveless marriage. Kevin was heir the throne. He was a gallant gentleman who connected to the private citizens. The private citizens saw Danielle as one of them and crowned her a princess almost immediately.

Her second grandchild, Nick, who knew he wasn’t ever going to be in line for the throne, married an older woman without seeking any approval first. She seethed at him in the castle and advised them they would be together even if they wanted a divorce in a few months. To the public, though, she praised her son’s choice and wished them well.

Her third grandchild, Joe, was a troubled free spirit. Even though she believed Nick had made a rash decision, she knew he would be okay. It was Joe she worried about. His girlfriend seemed to be with him for publicity. She had a reputation as a party girl. Some of their fights had made into the tabloids. She was an embarrassment to the royal family. Every day, she waited for his girlfriend to end it.
