She performs at a lounge. The audience claps for her as they sit at their tables.

Rating: 4/5

Tina Turner puts on her robe and sits on her bed. She reads the last few chapters of her book. The main female character, who was able to turn her life around, inspired her. She had gone through so much. Turner closes the book and puts it on her lap. She looks next to her and to the telephone. It was too late to call anyone.

In the morning, she returns the book to the library and asks if there is a book club. The librarian gives her the names and phone numbers of people to call. Turner puts the information in her purse. She glances at a young man helping his girlfriend pick out a movie to watch. His girlfriend shakes her head and he offers another option.

At work, she performs on stage. A second young woman tells she’s envious of her fame. The young woman says she travels whenever she wants and does what she loves for a living. Turner says performing pays the bills. However, it doesn’t leave much time for a personal life.

Turner drinks a glass of wine with her background singers. They talk about their boyfriends. Turner tells one of her background she’s being petty. Her background singer says it’s annoying. Turner tells her “that’s a relationship what is.” Another background singer responds that it’s been a long time since she’s been in a relationship. Turner finishes her drink and orders herself one more. They ask her if she needs a ride home. She says she’s going to stay a little bit longer.
