In black-and-white, Selena Gomez walks into the dining room and sits by the window. She brushes away her bangs and holds onto her legs on the chair. She looks all over the room. Folding her hands, she glances over her shoulder. She talks and states her feelings. She puts her hands on her face.
While talking, she directs her thumb to the left and puts her hand underneath her chin. She hits her hands against the glass. Swaying in her chair, she raises her arms in the air. She points and laughs. Staring up at the ceiling, she folds her hands. She points her finger at her chest.
It felt good to let it all out. Selena Gomez had been holding her emotions in for several months. She doesn’t care what her ex-boyfriend’s new wife thinks. She’s going to speak her truth. Part of her still loves her ex-boyfriend. Seeing him get married to someone else after everything they went through left her catatonic. Even though they weren’t right for each other, she wondered what was wrong with her. When they were together, all she wanted him wanted to was try. What is it about his wife that makes him try?
It ticks her off that she wasn’t enough. It also ticks her off that she cares so much. But she’s recovered from the pain. As she tells one of her friends, she made the right decision. She lists all the things her ex-boyfriend did to her and she still resents him. She tells her friend his new wife is going to learn who he really is. Her ex-boyfriend is going to ruin his wife’s life. However, Gomez believes she has a second chance. She’ll succeed as he and his wife try to pick up their pieces.
