Video Review: Lil Uzi Vert “Futsal Shuffle 2020”

Lil Uzi Vert slides his legs back and forth to the front and nods his head. He turns and steps. His friends smile as they walk by him. He pretends to exhale from smoking a cigarette.

He stands against a billboard with an animated marijuana leaf, moving his arms. He kicks up his legs while he dances near an office. He and his friends hit their arms together as they dance on the rooftop. They continue to dance, lit in electric red, he and his friends dance in a club. Lit in hunter green, he continues to dance.

He dances in the road. A young woman dances on the sidewalk. He leans back and moves his arms while on the sidewalk. Back in electric red, he breakdances on the floor.

Against an electric red sparkling screen, he dances in three squares.

People hold up their phones as their friends dance.

He performs in concert and dances on the runway. He falls into the crowd. Fireworks go off. Multiple slides of squares show the fireworks and the audience.

Lil Uzi Vert sees his streaming numbers go up. In the comments, people compliment his dancing. He calls his manager. They finally have leverage with the record company. For almost two years, he’s been doing the work himself and receiving no responses from his employer. However, he had something to show his employer.

During the meeting, his record company congratulates him on his fantastic numbers and tell him they have allotted him a budget for a video and marketing. They mention the record company will handle the marketing from here on out. Lil Uzi Vert mentions his main concern is the album. They tell them they’ll schedule another meeting for it.

His manager tells him it went well and says they are going to go over the album again with the producer. Lil Uzi Vert says he still has some music he was working on. His manager says to complete the songs and include them. Lil Uzi Vert calls the producer and asks him if he can meet for some studio time.
