Video Review: A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie “Bleed”

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, wearing boxing gloves, hits a punching bag in the gym. Wearing a magenta hoodie, he talks on his cell phone as he stands by a brick building. In a split screen, a young man raps in his mirror (left) while A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie dances in his family room (right).

He sits in his car and raps. At a restaurant, four men talk. Blood falls from the ceiling as he stands by a piano. A second young man shoots them. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie listens from the door. A third young man explains what happened in the interrogation room. The third young man gets out of a car and starts shooting in a parking lot. A cell phone plays a friend’s piano as sits on the keys of the piano. The third young man makes a call on the payphone, blood streaming from his eyes.

In a split screen, a young woman watches television (left) while A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie continues to rap in his family room. He drives his car as it rains. Blood pours from the ceiling as he sits in his car in the family room. He continues to hit the punching bag in the gym.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie nods as he listens to the trainer. His trainer that he may get a chance to fight within six months. However, he can’t miss any days. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie apologizes for not coming by and hits the punching bag. His cell phone rings as he leaves the gym. It was his friend’s mother, saying he was caught up in something and it was all because of him. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie asks for more information. His friend’s mother says it was a shooting. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie hangs his head. There was blood on his hands.

As he drives in the city, he notices the crime tape had been taken off the entrance of the restaurant. A second friend of his had murdered the four men for cheating him out of money. He asks himself when it’s going to end and prays for some guidance. His second friend was currently on the run. He had told his second friend it wasn’t worth it. His second friend was one day away from starting a new job.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie drinks some water as he studies. The gun stays tucked in his pocket. He hopes he doesn’t ever have to use it. Someone knocks on the door and he jumps. He shuts off the light and looks through the peephole. It was a fourth friend of his, who he hadn’t seen for awhile. His fourth friend tells him to open the door and that it’s just him. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie holds up his gun.
