SZA throws her head back as she sits in the back of a pick-up truck, lifted off the ground by a crane. The young man sits in the tractor in the junkyard. She and several young women perform a routine by a pile of crushed cars. Wearing a tie-dyed long t-shirt and tan pants, she dances on a haystack.
Painted in ruby red, she dances in the field. Lying on the hay, she wears a white crop and pants. The multiple white animals graze around her in the barn. Wearing a printed Ottolinger bra top and Marithé et François Girbaud jeans, she dances by some cars in the lot. The young women lean against the cars during the routine. She swims in a pool.
Ty Dolla $ign raps in the parking lot while SZA and the young women continue to perform the routine. The young man in the tractor lowers the pick-up truck as she sways in the back. She opens her eyes as she props her elbows up on a pommel horse. Sitting in the middle of it, she moves to the right side and straddles it.
SZA turns on the windshield wipers as she sits in a car in the lot. It sounded like it was in a good shape. A second young man explains to her the truck was a repossession. SZA comments the person took care of it and offers him $500 for it. The second young man says he can’t go lower than a thousand. SZA says the car has the basics. There really isn’t any special to it. He says she has a point and that he can take it down to 750. She replies she has it budgeted it for $600 and nothing above it. He tells her he’ll get the paperwork ready.
She works on the engine in the afternoon. Her phone flashes and she checks the number. It was Ty Dolla $ign. She texts him back and responds she’ll be able to meet him at the bar. He asks her if she’s okay with his new girlfriend being there. She says it’s fine and tells him they agreed to be friends. He says he’ll see her at 7 p.m.
SZA waves at him while he gets out of the car. He holds his new girlfriend’s hat and she wanted to heave. She wasn’t sure she could go through with it. He introduces her to him. SZA shakes her hand. He tells his girlfriend to get a seat for them inside. She gives SZA the side-eye. SZA says his girlfriend hates her already. He asks her what’s wrong. She gulps and says she’s okay and it’s good that he moved on. He says if it means anything, he misses her. SZA puts her finger to her lips and asks him to not to say anymore. They both walk inside the restaurant. SZA asks his new girlfriend if she’s ever been there before.
