Wearing a blue robe with white polka dots, Olly Alexander stares into the mirror in his bedroom. He wipes his eyes and sits on the couch. As he looks out the window, the second version of himself smiles into the mirror and unties his robe.
His arms crossed, he watches the second version of himself mime drinking a cocktail and splashing him. He recoils from the mimed splash and backs off as the second version of himself dances towards him. Olly hides by the wall and peeks into the doorway. He breaks out into a run and leaps by the table. The second version of himself dances on the table while Olly crawls. The second version of himself stares at him and he lets out a scream.
The second version of himself takes off his robe and dances for Olly. Olly shakes his head as he watches from the couch. The second version of himself puts a magazine in front of his voice. Olly tiptoes out of the family room and runs down the hallway.
The second version of himself skips in the hallway and surprises Olly with some flowers. Olly runs in the other direction and down the stairs. He stops and and freezes as the second version of himself blows kisses to him. The second version of himself dances by himself in the foyer. The second version of himself smiles in the mirror and sits on the couch again.
Olly Alexander winces as he rolls over in bed. His stomach was bothering him again. It had been an entire week. Picking up his phone, he looks at a text his friend sent him two days. He really wanted to respond but didn’t have the energy.
While sitting on the couch, he confirms his vaccine appointment and turns on television. He plays along with the game show and shuts it off. He about a dozen things to do around the house. However, he wanted to eat some soup and take it easy.
He sits in the chair, watching the time on his clock. At the 15 minute mark, he gets up and walks to his car. In two weeks, his life will be somewhat normal again. He texts back his friend and asks if he wants to come over to his house. His friend says he’ll bring over the cocktails. Alexander laughs to himself and says he’s finally gotten some of the mixtures right on the drinks.
