Video Review: Billie Eilish “NDA”

A car drives along the road. Billie Eilish walks by herself in the pitch-black night. Her face multiplies. Headlights of several car light the road as she bends over. She continues to walk in the dark. Glancing over the shoulder, she sees cars in the distance. She falls on the ground as the multiple cars pass by her. The cars dodge her. She stands in the road.

Rating: 1/5

Billie Eilish sneaks out of her bedroom window and walks onto the main road late at night. A few cars honk at her. She jumps out of the way. Although she was shaken up, it was freeing. A part of her still cared. Another car almost nicks her hip and she bites her lip. There was going to be a scratch.

She walks into the convenience store and buys some beer. The clerk doesn’t even look up. She opens the can and chugs it. The sales clerk hands her back her credit card. She wipes her mouth with her sleeve as she continues to walk.

She talks to a thirtysomething man outside the restaurant. He invites her to a party at his house the next day. They exchange phone numbers. He winks at her and she stares at the pavement. As she walks home, she checks his profile online. He had a fiancé and a 12-year-old girl. She puts her phone in her pocket as she walks into the backyard.
