Video Review: Miranda Lambert “Little Red Wagon”

A truck (with a trailer attached) drives down the road. Miranda Lambert and her dog walk out of the trailer. She puts on her sunglasses and walks to the office of the motel. The fortysomething man behind the desk looks at her dog as she signs in. She smiles at him and he gives her the keys.

As she walks on the second floor of the motel, she acknowledges a twentysomething maid as she pulls her cart. The fortysomething man plays the air guitar. The twentysomething maid dances as she takes the sheet of the bed.  Lambert, wearing a red bathing suit, sits on a lounge chair by the pool and gazes at a twentysomething shirtless man cleans it. She sips her drink while her dog sits on a float.

The twentysomething maid dances as she dusts the room. Lambert, wearing a robe, lies on the bed with her dog. The twentysomething maid falls onto the bed. She smiles at the twentysomething man as he cleans the entrance and gets inside her trailer.

Rating: 4.5/5

Miranda Lambert feeds her dog in the motel room and moves the curtain. The twentysomething man was scrumptious. She tilts her head as he heads to the other side of the parking lot. Crossing her arms, she leans against the window and asks her dog what she should do.

In the bathroom, she turns on the faucets and lets it run.  As it floods the floor, she calls the front desk and reports it. The front desk clerk says someone will be by in the morning to take a look. She falls asleep, dreaming of the twentysomething man in bed beside her.

The twentysomething man walks into her room with a mop and bucket. She shrugs and says she doesn’t know what happened. He explains there’s nothing he can do and he’ll contact maintenance. She replies, “oh.” He drops his mop and walks to her. Taking her hands, he tells her she’s an angel. She rests her head on his chest and says she has to leave town. He says for her to cancel her plans. She waves his hand in his face and takes off her ring. He kisses her and she says he’ll be a memory to her. While carrying her dog, she walks back to her trailer and looks straight ahead.
