Hammer calls out “hey, hey, wait at a minute” as the guillotine is raised. While Wednesday (Christina Ricci), a character from the 1991 film, The Addams Family, pulls the lever, he says “you don’t mean this, right?” He screams as Wednesday lets go and chops off his head. Pugsley (Jimmy Workman) flinches as Hammer’s head bounces on the floor. Thing flicks his head.
Pugsley and Wednesday spin Hammer, who’s tied on a wheel, in their family room. Hammer and several twentysomething men dance in the dining room. In a clip, Gomez (Raul Julia) and Uncle Fester (Christopher Lloyd) walk towards each other, sharpening their knives while their family watches. Back in the mansion, Lurch (Carel Struycken) takes the cover of the plate and serves Hammer’s head. Hammer pops up of the dish to Gomez and Uncle Fester’s surprise.
Morticia (Anjelica Huston) plays the violin as Wednesday throws the axe at the wheel. She narrowly misses Hammer’s head. Hammer dances in the graveyard. Several heads rise and bop. In the clips, Morticia and Gomez dance. Uncle Fester nuzzles Wednesday’s stuffed toy as she lies in bed. Back in the graveyard, Hammer and the twentysomething men dance in the graveyard. Hammer dances with Morticia and kisses her arm. Gomez yields his sword. Hammer and Gomez have a swordfight. Back in a clip, Lurch breathes fire. In the graveyard, Hammer, Pugsley, Wednesday and Morticia sit on a bench and sing. In a clip, Thing massages Gomez’s head. Gomez and Morticia kiss by their front door.
Morticia gives Hammer the once over as he walks into the family room. Hammer bows to her. Morticia touches his chin and says he’s so handsome. Gomez pokes him with a cane and tells him to knock it off. Hammer asks Pugsley and Wednesday if they want to play.
Pugsley comments his parents really like him. Hammer says he’s grateful to them. Wednesday intones “something is wrong with Fester.” Pugsley asks, “you think so?” Wednesday gets her knife and says they can solve it in a few minutes. Hammer puts his hand on hers and asks her why she thinks Fester is a fake. She says his niceness is off-putting.
Hammer bumps into Fester. Fester mutters “you’re in the way.” Hammer compares the framed picture to Fester. He gets the sword and demands to know what he did to the real Fester. The fake Fester growls “you’ll never find out.” Gomez rubs his hands together. It’ll be one way to get rid of their houseguest. Morticia nudges him and tells him to put a stop to it. Gomez sighs and stands in between them, saying “it’s not worth it.” Hammer withdraws his sword and offers to shake fake Fester’s hand. Fester glares at him while he shakes his hand.
